Culinary Medicine Cooking Classes

  • Kids (age 10+)

    • These classes are limited to 5-8 participants. Recipes will be mailed a week ahead so that groceries can be purchased. Recipes are heavily plant based. Kid involvement is encouraged in grocery shopping, food prep, cooking, and clean-up. Over a five-week session, participants will explore easy meals they can make now and establish some skills they can build upon. Those with special dietary needs are asked to inform us at the time of class registration.

  • Adults

    • These classes are limited to 4-6 participants. Recipes will be mailed a week ahead so that groceries can be purchased. Recipes are heavily plant based. Over a five-week session, participants will learn how to shop, prepare, and cook quick meals (all under 30 minutes from prep and cooking time) meals that are both healthy and delicious. We will also discuss daily practices that can improve your nutrition by making small, easy choices around food. Those with special dietary needs are asked to inform us at the time of class registration.

    • Return via Spruce Health App, secured email, or fax to the practice at to (503) 713-5395 in order to confirm and hold your appointment time within 72 hours of scheduling the appointment. NOTE: All missed classes will be forfeited as make-up sessions for group classes are not possible. If you enroll in a class series and give 14 days notice you will be allowed to apply those fees to another series within the next 6 months. If not used within 6 months the credit will expire..
